The body is made of solid mahogany topped with maple, the classic formula that makes this such a good sounding guitar. The profile of the neck is the Gibson 50's design.

I am a music lover; let's talk about the characteristics of the electric guitar right, first look
Gibson Les Paul Studio Review
This electric guitar is very close to the Standard model. The lack of binding on the neck and body is the most notable difference compared to this guitar.
The body is made of solid mahogany topped with maple, the classic formula that makes this such a good sounding guitar. The profile of the neck is the Gibson 50's design.
The pickups are the hum buckers that were featured in the old Standard, the 490R and 498T. They sound more aggressive than the vintage voiced pickups that now come in the Standard.
Epiphone Les Paul Custom Review
This one is very close in design to a black les paul Studio. Due to its much lower price it's only normal that many would consider getting this one instead. The pickups on this guitar are based around the same pickups of the Studio, and even though they are not at the same level to my ears they sound very good.
The neck is modeled after the Gibson 60's slim tapered which is much thinner than the 50's. Epiphone manufactures these guitars in a privately owned facility set up by Gibson in 2003. So even though it's overseas is as direct control as you'll find in this industry.
Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Review
Not having a maple top could seem like a big departure from this guitar. But a lot of famous players have preferred the darker sound of this guitar with an all mahogany body. One that comes to mind is the late guitar player Bob Marley, another one is Mr. Les Paul himself.
Les Paul power and style at a price that you won't believe! If you've been waiting to get your hands on a Les Paul style guitar, this is your chance. epiphone les paul studio to deliver the essentials and just the essentials - no extraneous frills, just the good, solid Les Paul quality and sound you've come to expect from one of the world's most recognizable names in guitar.

The pickups are the same that come in the more expensive Standard, the Burst bucker Pro. One unfortunate change from when this guitar used to be called the Vintage Mahogany is that it used to come with a case, now it comes in a gig bag.
