Petronas Twin Towers

Cameron Highlands

This1800 meter above ocean level area is a prevalent getaway from the tropical warmth for Malaysians and traveller alike. Cameron Highlands was found by a British surveyor named William Cameron in 1885. This highland resembles England as old English hotels, chalets and bungalows still exists today. Attraction in Cameron Highlands includes mountain and wilderness hiking, tea manors, fruits and vegetables ranches, flower nurseries and its people. Cameron Highlands has two golf courses if you are a player.

Proboscis Monkeys

Living solely in Borneo Island, proboscis monkeys have the biggest nose among all primates. Growing up to 17.5cm long, the explanation behind the lengthened nose is obscure. Another particular feature of this one of a kind animal is its pot belly. The proboscis monkey is an imperilled species and is recorded under the IUCN Red List. Visiting these animals in its sanctuaries is certainly worth the trip.
