Beaverton Educator and City Councillor, Nadia Hasan, Recommends Hartman for Election to the Oregon House because of her Strong Leadership in Education Policy.

Oregon City/Gladstone, OR--- Beaverton City Councillor, Unite Oregon Board Member, and Educator Nadia Hasan endorses Annessa Hartman’s campaign for the Oregon House of Representatives, District 40, Monday.

“Annessa Hartman has shown the strong educational leadership I know our schools and communities need,” Hasan said. “Annessa brings immense experience as a mother, community organizer, and hospitality professional to help deliver what our communities need. As a former High School teacher and now City Councilor, I am impressed with her ability to listen, learn, and collaborate toward real solutions for Oregon’s families.”

Annessa Hartman announced her candidacy mid October to a whirlwind of endorsements by local leaders, congressional delegates, and business partners—a coalition to vault Hartman to the Oregon House in November 2022 to represent the cities of Gladstone and Oregon City, as well as parts of Canemah, Clackamas, Jennings Lodge, Johnson City, Oak Grove, and Oatfield, Oregon.

Nadia Hasan is the first to hold Position 6 of the expanded Beaverton City Council and Unite Oregon Board of Directors, previously serving on the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District Visioning Task Force. She brings over 20 years of experience as a public school teacher at Sunset and Beaverton High Schools, fortune 500 marketer, and HR Professional at Fred Meyer and Nike with a focus on talent acquisition and program management. She has a Masters in Math Education from Oregon State University.
