George Landegger has always been focused on philanthropy and helping the less fortunate. He works hard to help numerous families in the United States but is also focused on providing assistance to the impoverished families overseas. He helps feed low-income families in Alabama and Connecticut. In 2008, he was feeding 650 families every week in Monroeville, Alabama alone. He was able to help improve the economy enough with new jobs to reduce that number to only 250 families a week. He feeds 250 families every month in Connecticut and has donated millions of dollars to food kitchens and church programs.

He also assists low-income families with college and is a promoter of higher education. In an effort to help more people be able to attend college, he has funded numerous scholarship programs that assist students all over the country. He is also a college mentor and sponsors many different types of learning programs. He is the principal contributor of the Rise Program in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which helps educate children who are learning disabled.

George Landeggerhas spread his philanthropy into several different countries. He recently opened a home for unwed mothers in Bangalore, India. The facility offers a safe place to stay and care for children and also teaches these mothers how to be better parents and a trade that will allow them to find jobs and financially care for their families. He is also working on building a sanctuary for rape victims. He is the principal contributor of a fully functioning clinic that has served over 60,000 people in rural El Salvador and opened a K-12 school in Pakistan. He named the school after his daughter Justine, who is currently helping refugees in Pakistan.

George Landegger is in a position where he is able to help other people and he tries to do so as much as possible. He hopes to continue his philanthropy and help even more people every year. He also encourages others to volunteer and donate to worthy causes whenever possible. He is always looking for new philanthropy projects in the United States and in other countries.
