One Man One Revolution

Mr. Patel comes from a family that has traditionally been in the automobile component manufacturing business.

Who says one man cannot bring a valuable change? Mr. Ilyas A. Patel believes it just needs a good thought, sheer determination and hard work to bring about that change. His belief helped him make his dreams come true. To fight against pollution this ‘one-man’ invented, ‘Auxiliary Fuel Generator’ with his team. Here’s how he changed our mind-set.

Mr. Patel comes from a family that has traditionally been in the automobile component manufacturing business. Coming from a humble beginning, he graduated from Pune University with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and has extensive experience in designing and manufacturing microcontroller-based process control instruments and embedded systems. Mr. Patel has an extensive automotive vehicle experience hence he saw over the years the effect of air pollution caused by automobile vehicles. The entire world knows about the growing air pollution and what it’s doing to our environment and many have taken steps to bring about a change and save our mother earth. Mr. Patel is one of them who made an honest and focused attempt towards it. But his last breakthrough came after many years of failed trials and he finally gained perseverance.

Greenhouse gas emissions are also a major cause of dirty air as fossil fuel is burned as a key driver of the climate crisis. According to the World Health Organization, air pollution is causing an estimated 7 million premature deaths worldwide a year, primarily due to increased cardiovascular disease mortality, cancers and respiratory infections.
The air quality standards that exceed the WHO guideline limits, with low or medium-income countries most at risk, are estimated at more than 80% of the population living in cities monitoring air pollution. (Regan, CNN, 2020, pp 1)

IC Engines (Internal Combustion Engine) is mainly used in all automobile vehicles, small and medium electrical generators, agricultural vehicles and machinery, earthmover, military vehicle and machinery, and marine vessels. IC Engines are the backbone of all these industries. But how does it cause air pollution? It is due to the incomplete combustion process in the IC Engines, which releases the exhaust gas that mainly causes air pollution and affects the environment. This exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, Nitrus oxide, soot, etc.

According to BP’s Statistical Review of World Energy 2016, we have only 50 more years of both oil and natural gas remaining. Automobile industries have come up with a replacement, Electric Vehicles. Experts believe that present electrical vehicles are not practical to use since it is not suitable and powerful enough to adapt. Electrical fuel density needs to increase for it to be suitable as compared to fossil fuel density. Experts say the word of electric vehicles is not widespread as it’s not a 100% replacement and needs more RND. All in all, it is not an ideal replacement for all the vehicles we run these days. The clock is ticking and we are losing time. Our main concern right now is to save and make all the fossil fuels last longer and that can happen if there is an increase in the efficiency and reduction in the exhaust emission of IC Engine.

To deal with the problem of high pollution caused due to IC Engines, the Government of India proposed regulations known as the Bharat Stage Emission Standards (BSES). It was ordered by the central authorities to manufacture, sell and record only BS6s (BSVIs) vehicles from 1 April 2020 for all car manufacturers, for all vehicles. This means the sale and registration of motor vehicles conforming to the emission standard Bharat Stage IV (BS4) will be banned. To combat the issues of air pollution, Mr. Patel invented a universal device named ‘Auxiliary Fuel Generator’ to gain high performance and very low exhaust emission of the IC engine. Suitable for any fossil fuel (CNG, PNG, PETROL & DIESEL), IC engines of any grade(BS-I, BS-II, BS-III & BS-IV) by using Hotexhaust Air Water Atomization ( HAWA ) Technology, without using any additional mechanical, chemical or electrical energy.

How will this device change the face of the Automobile Industry? You ask? The Auxiliary Fuel Generator is a unique system that can holistically reduce pollution and global warming worldwide. It uses HAWA Technology (Hotexhaust Air Water Atomization) to produce Auxiliary Fuel. This Auxiliary Fuel is low mass water molecules that help save up to 35% of fuel consumption using a little amount of drinking water. There are many special features and benefits if we use Auxiliary Fuel in IC Engine, these are as follows:

1. There is a very high reduction in NOx (Nitrous Oxide) emission.
2. It provides a very high reduction of all the other exhaust emissions.
3. A unique HAWA technology device gives an instant response.
4. A unique HAWA technology device uses the waste energy of the IC engine.
5. HAWA technology is suitable for any fossil fuel (CNG, PNG, PETROL & DIESEL) IC engines.
6. HAWA technology is suitable for any grade (BS-I, BS-II, BS-III & BS-IV) IC engines.
7. It provides ultra-fast complete combustion in the ultra-lean condition of the fuel.
8. It increases the efficiency of the IC engine up to 35%.
9. It decreases the operating temperature of the IC engine.
10. There is an increase in the torque of the IC engine.
11. It decreases the maintenance as well as the wear and tear of the IC engine.
12. A small amount of water required, as per the IC engine displacement.
13. There is no modification required in the IC engine.
14. Requires Low maintenance.
15. It does not require any additional mechanical, chemical, electrical energy.

The success story started 10 years ago. There have been many failed experiments, refusals, mistakes, explosions, money and time required to achieve the breakthrough. While working on this project he lost all the support from his family, friends, team members, and even his mentor. In a small rendezvous, he quoted, “It was very difficult for me to work on this project since everyone asked me to give up. I almost did until I wanted to try for one last time and it worked. I was finally able to get results. I gave my 10 years to this project; I want to see it come alive.” His vision and desire to make our country pollution-free was what gave him the inspiration for this project.

This device is one of the biggest steps towards a greener world since it can reduce the carbon footprint of our country and ultimately the world. Auxiliary Fuel Generator comes at a low cost and is easy to use. This invention can change the picture of our country as well as the entire world in the long run. It is a tribute to the Automobile Industry of our country. We hope that this invention will do wonders and contribute towards a greener environment.
