Independent filmmaker Alvin Soprano has confirmed that her first anthology machinima series, The Witching Hour, is currently in post-production and will be released exclusively on YouTube under her channel Soprano Productions. A release date has not yet been announced.

The Witching Hour will mark a major shift in format for Soprano, who has exclusively produced standalone machinima films since 2007. Known for her psychological horror and surreal visual style, Soprano now turns to serialized storytelling for the first time. The upcoming series will be a horror themed anthology, with each episode featuring a self contained narrative.

The series is being developed using The Sims 4 game engine consistent with Soprano’s recent machinimas including Fantasmus (2020) and Drained (2025). It continues her tradition of fully independent production. Soprano writes, directs, voices, and edits her own work, with longtime collaborators Jakob Chambers and Matthew Gordon contributing music and editing feedback, respectively.

Soprano has been active since 2007 and features over 35 machinima films across platforms like The Sims, GTA, Fallout, and Skyrim. Her most recent uploads Goodbye Mommy, Rest in Pieces, Drained, and Bone-Skinny signaled her return to machinima after a three year hiatus.

The Witching Hour will be released exclusively on her official YouTube channel Soprano Productions. No additional platforms or formats have been confirmed at this time.
