Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently announced a new partnership with CalcuQuote, creating a platform for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) companies to instantly query price and availability information from a Future Electronics data feed.
Robert Miller, President of Future Electronics, congratulated the entire Future Electronics team for the new agreement, which enbles EMS companies to check Future Electronics' inventory and search for manufacturing part numbers (MPNs) in a Bill of Materials (BOM). CalcuQuote then replies with the price, availability, and other related information for those parts, by using CalcuQuote's Materials Costing module.
"Future Electronics is excited to have a great partner in CalcuQuote," said Tom Galligani, Vice President of FIRST and Supply Chain Solutions at Future Electronics. "This new integration enables us to provide our outstanding selection of products to EMS companies in a very efficient way."
"We are delighted to bring component information directly from Future's catalog to our customers without the manual effort of emailing spreadsheets back and forth," said Chintan Sutaria, CEO of CalcuQuote. "Our customers rely on Future Electronics for excellent part selection and availability, and we're very happy to deliver this new capability to the EMS industry in a way that saves everyone time."
Future Electronics was founded in 1968 by Robert Miller, President and CEO, with more than 5,000 employees worldwide.
