F.U.E.L. Sports Network and Gateway City Sports Merger

St. Louis, Missouri – May 21, 2024 – F.U.E.L. Sports Network (FSN) announce a merger with Gateway City Sports (GCS). The agreement will expand and streamline content to include modern print and television media under one umbrella, as well as strengthen business practices. FSN will absorb GCS and incorporate its platforms under the FSN brand. Co-founders Arlington Lane and Jason Spurgeon will continue in their roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman respectively. Former GCS Chief Executive Officer, Derek King will assume the role as Chief Content Officer.

Jason Spurgeon said “Making our partnership with Gateway City Sports permanent and part of our organization is key in uniting fans content consumption. Becoming a full-service outlet for information, allows us to deliver on our commitment to the fans.”

“The vision in creating Gateway City Sports was sports coverage that was designed by the fan in mind.” said King. “We’ve had great success with this approach and partnerships with F.U.E.L. Sports Network and their similar vision of the best sports coverage with the fans in mind. It was an easy decision to fully incorporate Gateway City Sports into FUEL for a shared vision of the fan experience.”

The agreement and changes are effective immediately.
