Fremont College Announces the Official Opening of Enrollment to Include Military Service Members and Their Spouses

Fremont College recently announced their new military friendly enrollment program for active duty, veteran, and military spouses by providing affordable online education to all who are eligible.  After completing one of the many online programs, service members will be better equipped and trained to transition into a new civilian career after their military service is completed.

Students can select a program of interest with the help of an academic mentor, who will guide them through the enrollment process and help them choose a suitable career path. Programs available to qualified military service members can include healthcare programs, marketing programs, and business programs.

“We are honored to be offering military friendly programs to the brave service members who have served our country.” said Fremont College Chancellor Dr. Sabrina Kay.  “Service members devote their lives to serving our country.  Now it’s our turn to help them.”

In addition to benefits such as the Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA), Post 9/11 GI Bill, and other programs offered by the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Defense, and the Department of Education, Fremont College has made going to college and keeping your budget in check possible.  Some of the benefits to military students applying and/or attending the new program can include:

Military student discounted rate on tuition
Military GPA scholarship
Little to no book cost
Waived fees for Admissions applications, transcript evaluations and registration
Flexible online courses that allow you to study when and where it’s convenient for you.
Military credits evaluated by ACE from JST, CCAF, CGI are accepted
CLEP, DSST (DANTES) and Excelsior College Exams are accepted
Active duty servicemen, veterans, and spouses interested in veterans programs can apply now. Visit https://fremont.edu/military-school/ to get started.

About Fremont College

Fremont College is a privately owned college that provides educational opportunities for working adults. The college is based in Cerritos, California with a virtual campus online. The college was built upon a teaching methodology that is based on research conducted by Dr. Sabrina Kay during her studies at USC and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The teaching methodology, referred to as Professional Action Learning (PAL), attempts to teach students using a variety of instructional techniques beyond standard textbooks and exams. PAL is designed to make use of the operating concepts behind the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) and action learning methods to determine students’ learning strengths and actively engage students in the learning process. The methodology involves guest speakers, videos, hands-on skills practice, group discussion, questions, dialogue, and student presentations.
