The UK Lottery has rolled over for a record 14th time meaning £57,000,000 will be up for grabs this Saturday.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wednesday the 6th Jan 2016 saw the UK National Lottery Rollover for the 14th time. This new record breaking rollover saw a huge surge in ticket sales from customers hoping to scoop the incredible £50,000,000 Jackpot, the biggest ever Jackpot the UK Lottery has ever seen. Demand was so high for tickets that, according to https://oddsjunkie.com both the lottery website and mobile site were unable to process new sales. According to Camelot up to 200 tickets were being purchased every single second at retailers up and down the country.

New rules which were bought in to effect last Oct meant that players had to chose 6 numbers between 1 and 59 rather than 1 and 49 which they had previously been used to. This increase in numbers has a huge effect on the odds of winning and players now have a 1 in 45,000,000 chance of scooping the jackpot rather than 1 in 15,000,000 before the changes.

One other major rule change that will take in to effect on Saturday's draw means that if no ticket scoops the jackpot then it will be given to the person who has 5 correct numbers and the bonus ball. This pretty much ensures that someone will win this Saturday as the chance of hitting will lower to 1 in 9,000,000.
