Thousand Oaks Neurosurgeon Joins Calif Institute of Neuroscience Staff

Ha Son Nguyen, M.D., has joined the staff of the California Institute of Neuroscience in Thousand Oaks, announced founder Martin Mortazavi, M.D. Nguyen will utilize his keen surgical skills to treat those with a range of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, and infections and degenerative diseases of the brain and spine. His surgeries will be performed at Los Robles Regional Medical Center and West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
In addition to his practical skills, Nguyen is a prolific author of articles relating to his area of specialty. To date, he has published 41 abstracts and nearly 70 medical journal articles. Nguyen, who is fluent in Vietnamese, earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine before completing his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to medical school, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemical engineering at the University of California Davis.
