Stewart Cellars to be Featured Winemaker at Anaheim White House Dinner

Recognized by the prestigious trade publication, Wine Enthusiast, for its award-winning cabernet sauvignons, rosés, blends and other fine wines, Stewart Cellars will be the featured vintner at a winemakers dinner at the Anaheim White House restaurant on Thursday, September 19. The evening will kick off with canapés and rosé served at 7 p.m. followed by a 5-course dinner. Chef/owner Bruno Serato says the other courses will surely include pasta and a cut of prime beef as well as dessert prepared by pastry chef Luis Padilla. Cost is $95 per person. Call (714) 772-1381.
Founded in 2000, Stewart Cellars is the collaborative project of founder Michael Stewart, his son, James, daughter Caroline Stewart Guthrie, and son-in-law Blair Guthrie. Together, the family oversee all aspects of the winery’s operations. James, an artist who left behind a burgeoning career in television and music for hands-on work in sales, marketing and distribution; Caroline, who leads the day-to-day operations along with each wine’s development; and Blair, the winemaker who works closely with the winemakers to capture the signature terroir of Stewart’s premier vineyards and vineyard sources.
