(4-Course Mexican Culinary Event To Be Held July 24)

OC’s newest Mexican restaurant, Hidalgo’s Cocina & Cocteles in Fullerton, will present its Tequila & Tacos, a 4-course culinary experience featuring handcrafted, special edition menu items paired with cocktails made using high-quality tequilas. This inaugural dinner is being held in conjunction with National Tequila Day on Wednesday, July 24 starting at 6:30 p.m. (See attached menu for details.)
“When we learned that National Tequila Day was right around the corner, Ryan and I immediately enlisted the team to create a one-of-a-kind culinary event and I think they have created something truly special,” said owner Brianne Dudley.
Added her husband and partner, Ryan, “We offer some really special and unique tequilas that will be featured at the dinner. It’s the perfect event for tequila lovers.”
Hidalgo opened its doors at the Villa del Sol in historic downtown Fullerton in early 2019. It offers lunch and dinner menus featuring sophisticated takes on classic south-of-the-border staples. The tequila dinner menu was crafted by Army veteran and Executive Chef Scott Rosales with help from chefs de cuisine, Antonio and Chelo Muñoz, brothers who moved to the U.S. from Mexico 20 years ago. The cocktails are the creation of noted spirits guru Dustin Adams, who the OC Weekly hails as the county’s “best bartender.”
The event will be held on the landscaped patio and space is limited. Cost is $45 per person and reservations may be made by calling (714) 447- 3202. Visit www.hidalgofullerton.com for more information about Hidalgo’s Cocina & Cocteles 305 N. Harbor Blvd. #111 Fullerton, CA 92832
