(Operations For Hope Now Will Offer Services To Americans)

Since 2012, Operations For Hope has transformed the lives of thousands of people from all over the world suffering from physical deformities. Today, the nonprofit announced that it is bringing its life-changing work back home to those living in the U.S. Board-certified plastic surgeon Michael Omidi, M.D., founder of the nonprofit that is based in Beverly Hills, said that there is a great need among those living in the U.S. with physical abnormalities who don’t have the resources to correct them.
“While we take great satisfaction from the work we perform all over the world, we recognize that there is a growing need for our services right here at home,” said Omidi. “Women without health insurance who have had double mastectomies and are in need of reconstructive work, teens who are bullied mercilessly by their peers due to their abnormally large noses or acne riddled skin, accident victims who have been left with life-altering deformities and many others are among the cases that we are learning about and need our help.”
Omidi says that those in need of plastic surgery are encouraged to briefly describe their condition and how it’s impacting their lives and send via email to (email). Include a daytime phone number. The committee for Operations For Hope will evaluate all submissions and contact candidates to arrange appointments.
