Shenzhen, China-based technology and alternative energy-focused broker-dealer, Fox Capital Partners has appointed Owen Greer to the position of Chief Investment Officer at its private wealth management arm.

Effective November 24, Greer will assume responsibility for the strategic and day-to-day operations related to new and existing business development and portfolio management at the firm’s Hong Kong offices.

Mr. Greer has been with the firm for 5 years as Head of Asia Pacific Strategy responsible for the administrations of teams of analysts and researchers within equities, commodities and fixed income. “Owen is a proven leader who’s had a highly-visible hand in so many innovations and improvements at Fox Capital Partners. He has been instrumental in our growth and our success and his commitment to ensuring that clients receive the best investment counsel is total,” said Roland Attinger the firm’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Greer will succeed Jack Chan, the current incumbent and the firm’s Vice President who is reducing his duties owing to family obligations. Mr. Chan will continue on as the firm’s Vice President.

Fox Capital Partners is planning to expand its influence in the Chinese wealth management market and will soon be announcing a new initiative aimed at doubling its funds under management within 2 years.
