First Choice Construction has been in business since 2010 and Ryan Green, the owner, has over two decades of experience in the construction industry. We are active members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield, and Ryan proudly serves on the HBA Board of Directors. First Choice Construction opened for business in the summer of 2010 after noticing that the Springfield area needed a builder with a new perspective on the Springfield construction market. We have an open book method of pricing that allows our customers to see exactly what each part of their project will cost. We update our spreadsheet at each draw so we can work together with our customer to ensure that their project costs stay under control. Nothing is more frustrating than getting a $50,000 bill at the end of a project for over runs, when a lot of times an unsuspecting customer is not aware of until they are sitting at the closing table. We make sure that you know where you are, at every phase of the project, so we can make adjustments when needed to keep costs under control.
We are members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield and are active in the organization, from builder round tables, committees, and continuing education. We strive to ensure that we know all of the latest styles and building techniques so that we can provide our customer with the best product possible.
Combined, our owners and staff have decades of experience in the construction industry. We pride ourselves on using our experience to help our clients design their project the way they want it, only making recommendations when needed. That way, our home owners get the space they need and the look they desire!
We were involved in three of the Extreme Makeover, Home Addition projects, including the final episode in Joplin. In that spirit, we work in our community to give back when possible.
