The startup addresses the pressing challenge of climate change-induced flooding, which poses significant risks to communities worldwide. By leveraging advanced technology and data analytics, Riverguard tackles the complex problem of predicting and mitigating flood disasters, overcoming limitations in existing early warning systems.

Based in Rwanda, Riverguard Early Warning System is founded by Ndahayo Thierry and is currently raising $50k. The startup has joined FasterCapital’s LaunchUp program.

The LaunchUp program is helping startups and SMEs worldwide connect with angels and VCs and get funded using an AI system and with the total support of a complete team of financial experts, internal investors, and mentors.
