MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing is a process of creating a completed product for sale to consumers by using prefabricated components or raw materials. It is basically the process of converting raw material into a finished product i.e. producing something from start to finish. Now when we talk about fabrication, it's all about building products for commercial use or for manufactures and not for consumers. Manufacturing Vs. Fabrication

The major difference between the two is the amount of work and processes involved. Fabrication involves the assembly of standard or specialised parts to form parts of a product to be used in the manufacture of the finished piece. Manufacturing, however, is a start to finish movement, from the creation of parts through to the final assembly to produce a finished product, often using areas of fabrication within the manufacturing process.
