The Dream Job Blueprint - Even Presidents Use It The Dream Job Blueprint - Even Presidents Use It

A number of my clients are taken by surprise when I ask them: "What can be your real dream job?" Once in a little while I get feed back from one of those clients months later. After you read this, stop focusing just on paying your bills and start thinking bigger. Thinking big sure did work nicely for President Obama who just some time ago was a first term Senator. You know without a doubt President Obama had reveal written battle policy for his campaign. I hope this story warms the cockles of your heart because it did mine. Sam was a waiter in New York City the past couple of years who found a few free dream job info articles last year. This is what worked for him:

The very first thing he did was make a https://dgcasino.bet written outline. Think of it as a road map to your previously unknown destination. All the experts appear to agree it should be written down and kept in a prominent place where you will see it all the time. He brain stormed for a while just thinking of all steps he will have to decide to try make his dream a reality. He had to accomplish some research using Google and Yahoo now and then. Eventually he even joined a membership only job posting service especially for cruise line jobs. Then he just handled one or two steps at a time. Just focusing on which he could do while keeping his full time job waiting tables. Little by little things just did actually fall under place. But when he had a few set backs his attention remained centered on his goal just like President Obama. This is what his road map to success appeared to be:

Goal: Tour Guide for Cruise Ships

* Skills needed: Be bilingual, Friendly, Be considered a great public speaker, become experienced in the favorite Caribbean destinations. (watch the travel channel & record Caribbean shows)

* Real world experience: Tour Guide for Grey line tours in NYC and Black Jack Dealer.

* Need: get who is fit & get short-term lease on apartment

* Research: Network, make an inside connection, research requirements.

* Learn CPR & Medical this gives him an edge over other applicants

* Plan: He could start as a waiter if you need to, then move up to tour guide when spot available. Hopefully you will have you should not sacrifice.

* Reconnect with work colleagues and employers asking for reference letter signatures and contact info.

* Get an expert resume targeting a cruise line tour guide position as competition is stiff

* Get a few great cover letters, thanks letters and reference letters written at once

* Scour the employment ads for cruise line openings

* Spread the phrase: (Networking) He mentioned to his friends and associates precisely what he was planning. His own Chef had an association for him that would help. He had worked for an important cruise line for some years when he was single. Chef said: "Shoot for work in the casino."

* Visualize: He made a dream photo slide show in his PC so he could visualize his goals daily

* Be flexible and adaptable to be able to get everything you want. He increased his first career choice of being a Tour guide.

After going for some effort researching the steps to his dream job he learned he had another integrated advantage. He had previously been an Atlantic City Black Jack and Roulette dealer and many cruise ships have casinos on board. The only real reason he quit after 5 years of fun every night was the cigarette smoke. His new employers assured him that would not be a concern with them. They are in the middle of the Ocean and merely have to exhaust the smoky air with fans.

Another bonus: most cruise ship workers don't purchase room and board therefore the wages they earn do not have to attend rent or groceries. Additionally they do not want to create a pricey car payment every month because they are living on board the ship. There is also a deluxe fitness center for all to use as well so the normal gym membership fees don't apply either. In exchange there are always a few pitfalls the bars and casinos both are addictive if you are not careful.

He finished up with glamorous job working as a dealer in the casino. The Major advantage here was he absolutely loved travel of course, but he didn't wish to be limited by taking care of the ship whilst the guests were off on excursions and tours at exotic locales. So he joined a cruise line where in fact the casino closes once the ship is in port. In this manner he's free to call home it up just like a king.
