Together in unity they wrote a song that offers hope and unity to an ailing world still in a racial war based off cultural differences. The song entitled ‘We Can Be Brothers’ demonstrates unity as the solution to all racial differences.

 
Throughout time many major artist such as Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, and the Beatles, all contributed to countless songs that would alter social cause for change.

Even 1939’s Billie Holiday’s “Strange Fruit” in protest of the brutality and racism in practicing lynchings in the American South.
Over the decades, music has consistently had a significant cultural and political impact on real world events and provided power for positive change and unity at historical moments.

Still today artist from all genres, offer the same hope knowing the healing power of music and its influence to speak to the heart.
Such as the trio, John Robert Murphy ‘Rocker” vocalist for the tribute band ‘Evolution’, who vocals are often compared to Journey’s Steve Perry. ‘Universal’ indie artist Stephen Thomas, who brought to the trio a modern contemporary sound, and Milliea Taylor McKinney, a ‘ghostwriter’ for the superstars in country music.

The trio, agrees that the responsibility belongs to us all especially to those who write, perform, and influence through music.

The song ‘We Can Be Brothers’ is set for release worldwide through all major music outlets on April 3, 2018.
The hope is that new seeds of change will begin a new harvest of love, peace, and hope for humanity.

The trio, in Murphy, Thomas, and McKinney demonstrate that regardless of where you are you can reach out to make a difference. The recording was birthed through the internet bringing Murphy from Boston, Thomas from West Virginia, and McKinney from Kentucky, together in harmony to sing the same song of unity.
