Bookangel UK announces that The Distinctive Cat Book Award 2018 will be open to submissions from April 1st to July 31st, 2018. The winners will be announced on October 1st, 2018. The Distinctive Cat Book Award, run by Bookangel UK book club, is an award open to published books that features distinctive cats. The award was launched in August 2017 as a way to remember the first furry feline member and founder of the book club, and also to bring attention to other unique cats.

For the 2018 Award, Bookangel UK is partnering with the cat charity organization, CatChat, to provide online homing services at no cost, to cat rescues across the UK. Since its inception in 2000, Cat Chat has recorded an annual estimate of over 8,000 cats placed in homes. The partnership includes a£1 entry fee for each book entered for the award that will be donated to the cat charity organization. This will assist the cat rescue organization in fulfilling their mission to help more cats out of shelters and into homes.

The Distinctive Cat Award 2018, run by Bookangel UK book club, is an award open to published books that features distinctive cats. The book club will be partnering with Cat Chat for the 2018 Award by donating £1 of the entry fee from each submission to help rescue more cats.

The 2018 Award will be open to submissions from April 1st to July 31st, 2018, and winners will be announced on October 1st, 2018. The winner will cart away a certificate, web badge, £100 Amazon UK voucher and a catnip mouse. Three runners up will receive certificates and £25 Amazon UK vouchers.
