A new children's book, The Adventures of Goggle Man, is now available in all major outlets. The new book is the second in the series entitled Happy Horse Trails. The Adventures of Goggle Man: Happy Horse Trails is based on the adventures of the author's children. The story is written by April Kelly, a children's book writer who also has three other books to her name. The other books are Spaghetti on the Wall, The Adventures of Goggle Man Book 1,and Gratitude at Work.

The Adventures of Goggle Man: Happy Horse Trails introduces two new characters, Casey and her entertaining dog, Sunny. Targeting young readers between the ages of four and seven, The Adventures of Goggle Man: Happy Horse Trails features the Goggle Man and his trusty sidekick, Banjo, taking the readers through how they spend their days doing good deeds and fighting crime at home and being superheroes in their neighborhood. "Come along on their adventures — fighting villains and helping others," reads the book introduction as the author invites the readers to enjoy the story behind the book.

The colorful and inventive book, whose illustrations have been done by Tanya Maneki, takes the young readers on a page-turning adventure where the Goggle Man and his golden retriever, Banjo, track bad guys. However, as the reader discovers, they always take time to help their neighbors. So, with his magical bat and best friend beside him, Goggle Man is ready to take on the world, helping out around the neighborhood.

"For those who have a superhero at home, they know the importance of encouraging imagination and creativity. I hope this story will feel familiar to families as they watch their children grow and pretend," said Kelly. She also can't wait for parents and grandparents to share it with their own tiny adventurers at home.

A firm believer in networking

April is a firm believer in networking to build a personal brand. As with her first book, Gratitude at Work: How to Say Thank You, Give Kudos, and Get the Best from Those You Lead, she practices what she preaches. Her professional life is supported and has advanced by quality networking. And her personal brand makes a strong statement about her and her contributions to the workplace and the community.

April Kelly was working for PayPal before they were PayPal, laying the foundation and building the company from the ground up. In her next role, as the Senior Director of customer operations at LinkedIn, she would be placed in the center of another dot com revolution: professional networking. So she started, staffed, and unlocked the door to the customer service center for LinkedIn in Omaha in late 2006. Today, the office supports over 100 million LinkedIn users worldwide.
