Ahmedabad, Gujarat, INDIA (June 04, 2014) - This 1.30 minute film opens with dazzelign visual effects, fighter plane, war tank, humwee, gunfire. You may think that this is scene from any Hollywood blockbuster war film such as black hawk down, Hurt Locker or Saving PrivateRyan.

But this amazing War Short film is not actually production of Hollywood company but it is made in small town called Ahmedabad, located in western part of India. Ahmedabad is the hub of entrepreneurs. Hardly anyone can imagine that such a film can be made in the town that can dazzle the entire country.

But who made this film? Well, you might be guessing that some big name or company may be involved. But it is made by the filmmaker named Rihaan Patel and his team. Credits are produced by Ritam Bhatnagar, Cinematography and Editing by Priyal Patel, VFX and DI by Datt Trivedi and the main role of captain is played by Vikram Bajaj.

Rihaan Patel: “We do not have any great filmmaking degree or belong to any big institute, neither we are belong to any celebrity. We are the simple people who have ambition to make film like Hollywood. We have mastered the art of filmmaking by learning online and observing famous films. And we started to applying those techniques in our films”.

This film titled India Film Project 2014 AKA ‘War of the Film’ is the official trailer of the film festival called India Film Project organized by Ritam Bhatnagar.

India Film Project, went on to become India’s largest and first online filmmaking event. It amalgamated of 4200+ participants from 40+ cities and 4 countries across the globe making 320 films in 50 hours of time.

Rihaan won national and international awards for his short films based on social issues. By asking him, what is your next film, Rihaan says.. I’m writing a social, biopic drama, which is about the cultural and community value in which he belongs. I’m proud of where I born and by using my filmmaking skill, I want my culture values get recognized on international level so people living in world may find something new and can also apply in their life.
