Piatra Neamt, Neamt, Romania - (December 29, 2013) - The indiegogo is a famous website that helps funding or collect funds for the needy. One such example is about a man named Peter. It is being told that, Peter had no legs as they burnt in an accident a few years ago.

He was left in bad shape without any funding or help from others. He is around 35 years old and was homeless. Peter was helped by a girl from Romania and her name was Cristina. She was not only a kind hearted girl, but also helped a lot of people by organizing charity or funding from them when in need.

She is actually a student now and studying medicine. Her ambition is to help people more after she finishes college. She is involved in many humanitarian projects, the one like Peter, who lost his legs due to an accident. Peter never had any identity of his own as he was abandoned as a child by her parents. His mother abandoned him too. He was soon living in different orphanages all over the country. Once grown up, he found his way back home to Piatra Neamt. The authorities there refused to offer him identity papers.

His mom went to Italy to find a job and a place to say. He started working by himself, where he started removing ice with his empty hands. Once he started earning, he got an icebreaker and a shovel to make his job easier. This is the only reason that kept him fit. Being an optimist, he also had a sense of humor. There is a lot we can learn from him, his determination to build a life and make things possible while life has been harsh to him.

For a long time he was having a problem with the situation he was in. There was almost no one to help him. He did not or could not afford a wheelchair and had a hard time while moving around. He had to use his bare hands. He started a funding campaign to find a pair of new legs for himself. The funding campaign started on Indiegogo to buy him a pair of fresh legs.

As we all know that buying a pair of prosthetic legs might cost around $30,000 due to heavy technical involvement in it. Suddenly then, Cristina appeared on scene, when she saw the ad on Indiegogo.

She was quick to assess the situation of Peter as she knew she had to do something to get Peter out of his misery that will help him walk again or move around easier. She started a funding campaign with a goal of $25000 as a start. “If I am not able to buy a pair of prosthetic legs for him, then he can use this money to find a wheelchair and clothes to move around” said Cristina to the media.
