Guarda / St. Moritz / Zernez / Martina Cunfin - Guarda is easy to reach by public transport. You can reach Guarda in just 2.5 hours from the greater Zurich area and in less than 4 hours from Munich.
Since December 2022, all public transport in the greater Guarda area has been included without restrictions for tourists during their entire stay. More precisely, this means that from Martina Cunfin on the Austrian-Italian border up to and including Zernez, all public transport is included.
Likewise, in summer all mountain railways are included for daily use. This offers numerous advantages, e.g., for hikes, alpine tours and ebike excursions with very different, varied itineraries.
The community bus also runs up to the village until midnight, so that you can comfortably return to the village after an enjoyable dinner in The Valley. Additionally, there are attractive restaurants in the village of Guarda itself.
Everything is available, from the award-winning Gault-Millau toque restaurant to the rustic Alp restaurant, and there is no lack of a wide selection. The included public transport is an invaluable advantage for all visitors to the Engadin, as there are no more tickets to be booked.
