Early childhood educators play such an important role in a child’s development. They inspire young minds, expose them to the joys of learning, and give them the foundation for lifelong success.

There's much more than education happening when a child takes a seat behind a desk at a public, charter or private elementary school. The importance of primary education can't be overlooked. The purpose of primary education fulfills the special needs and developing the foundations of students during the first few years of their schooling life. Primary education has specific goals that make it a critical component of an educational system as a whole.
Here are a few reasons why Primary Education is important for Students at an early age:

1. It helps in boosting confidence and breaks down barriers.
For some children, academic work can leave them feeling deflated of confidence and not as good as their fellow pupils. Sometimes this can lead to poor behavior, lack of effort and a whole range of other things that are a detriment to their school life. But P.E can offer these children that little bit of a boost, where THEY can shine and show their talent, boosting their self-esteem, showing that they are good at something and that if they try hard they can achieve, which hopefully and most often, will boost their other work.

2. It provides an early learning experience
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the important relationships between parents and educational professionals, as well as the relationships between educators and other leaders. Early childhood development professionals need to be able to work with parents to help them teach their children at home. At the same time, students learn the capability to manage and understand the need of relationships.
3. It helps the develop the skill of teamwork in the Students
Sports in the early age can be a great team builder in the long run. It has been seen that children who normally would never talk to each other and children who didn’t really get along become good friends through sports and physical activities.

It can turn the most distant and torn apart class into a solid group, that work together and for each other, this benefits not only P.E but all subject areas and most importantly the kids in general as they become happier and more engaged with school life. And this skill helps them in every possible way, in every stage of life.

4. Supports Social and Emotional Development
It is very important for young children to spend some time with other children before starting primary school, especially for those who are from different cultures and backgrounds. One cannot take too lightly the significance of group activities. The group interaction help children to develop a sense of respect for others, learn the difference between right and wrong, how to play with cooperation, the importance of sharing, solve disputes, follow instructions, and voice their opinions.

5. Creating the Foundation for Future Goals
Primary education is designed to provide the foundational knowledge that would help young students progress to more complicated concepts and tasks as they move through established pathways in the educational system. It is crucial that individual learning needs are identified in primary schools which gives a directive approach to the educators and parents for supporting them to their individual pathways and give all the necessary support to help them cope all the upcoming challenges.

Educare India believes and understands the need of primary education is very advantageous not only for an individual but also for the country as well. It is the foundation for the further education. It forms the lives of children by promoting their decision-making skill. The children who got early education become more productive and skilled than those who don’t get this fundamental education. Furthermore, when a nation is educated, it does not suffer many losses due to innovativeness and capabilities of its citizens who are able to bring about the revolution both at the grass root level and national level. Consequently, primary education is the most crucial phase of a child’s life. It shapes them into a better thinker, learner and human being.
