Dylan Bednarz Earns the Shift Supervisor Position at Panera Bread

After a successful final interview with the higher ups at Panera Bread, Dylan Bednarz will become the new Shift Supervisor at the North American restaurant chain’s Edison-based business.

 
After a string of interviews that left Panera Bread’s executives more than convinced of his abilities - including his potential as a leader - Dylan Bednarz will become the new Shift Supervisor at Panera Bread’s Edison restaurant. The New Jersey based Bednarz who currently attends the New Jersey Institute of Technology looks forward to this opportunity.

The role allows him to showcase his leadership skills, as well as to take advantage of his chemical knowledge on occasions. His scope of duties will require him to have a deep and diverse understanding of the inner workings of the restaurant, in addition to having great interpersonal skills which he will use to create and sustain a productive conversation between the employees and the executives, with special emphasis on the new hires, whom he will personally prepare, using a specific training program. In fact, Dylan Bednarz will be responsible for the training of all new hires, in all fields of the stores.

His supervisory role also includes providing leadership for the more than 60 employees. This role requires him to be an educator, a leader, and of course a colleague as well. If someone from the staff has a problem, it’s him they’ll contact. Managing that many employees can be tough, but Dylan Bednarz is looking forward to this opportunity.

As the Shift Supervisor of the Edison-based branch of the company, he will also be responsible to write, read, and analyze certain reports, contributing to the company’s success in the process. What will quite possibly be one of the most important of his many tasks is labor management. This involves deciding who will work and when, all the while following regulations to the tee, as well as controlling the daily operations of the restaurant, including customer relations, which is something that Panera Bread takes extremely seriously.

Bednarz will be responsible for not only maintaining the good customer relationships that allowed the company to thrive in the New Jersey based Edison, but also to establish a base of commutation that will make those customers realize that they are part of the Panera Bread family. Dylan Bednarz cannot wait to showcase his talents in this new position.
