Jose Pineiro is a kayak surfer from Spain with a number of achievements to his name, starting from being recognized as the best Galician in an international competition, and securing 4th spot just behind the world elite of the Basque Country at that time, to ranking at 9th position in Steamer Lane, and more.

About Jose Pineiro
Jose Pineiro has been recognized as the best Galician in an international competition. He began surfing at the age of six and won various surfing championships by the time he was eleven. He was 4th just behind the world elite of the Basque Country at that time. He was accompanied on the podium by Edu Etxeberria, Xabi Olano and Odei Etxeberria. Now, being a professional kayak surfer, he considers big wave surfing not as a competition, but as a personal goal. Jose is passionate about kayak surfing and loves to spend even his idle time with the paddling community and the local kayaks.
