The event took place during the celebration of the annual meeting of Members in the town of Hervás, Caceres.

On the big day, Jose Pineiro Cortés gave an impressive speech stressing on the fact that a "new stage" in the association had begun at a social and economic time, which is complex but invites optimism. Besides recalling the great works done by the AEEF since its establishment in 2003, he also shed light on the importance of the family business in Extremadura. He said that it is the basis of the economy and society, and hence needs a favorable development framework that continues to generate employment, development and wealth.
