The Hybrid Work Experience Centre (HWEC) opened its doors recently for the public in Dubai Design District (d3). This is an initiative launched by Jabra and its partners including Microsoft, Lenovo, Sharp/NEC, Dutco Tennant LLC and more. Here the visitors will have the chance to get the real feel and touch of what the offices of the future would appear and first-hand experience of flexible and hybrid work models. There are more than 10-vendors showcasing their top-of-the-line solutions and innovative technologies that support the hybrid workspace arrangement. The centre offers a view of what the offices could look like as the showcased products merge modern interior design with the latest technology.
The HWEC is designed keeping in mind the modern amenities and accommodates many areas - from semi-secluded and secluded workspaces for open offices to conference rooms and meeting offices for both in-person and hybrid meetings, each model dedicated to modern-day workspace scenarios. Over the past years, businesses and employees prefer to work in hybrid work arrangement as it offers more flexibility to perform the business operations. In fact, according to the research on this topic by Jabra, it has been found that 68% employees are inclined towards hybrid work models as they give them the benefits of in-office socialisation, collaborativeness, focus and also work-from-home perks such as maintaining work-life balance.
