Dr. Renato Berger and the All Better Pediatric Group is in full compliance with National Committee of Quality Assurance standards

Dr. Renato Berger is proud to announce that his pediatric clinic in Coconut Creek, Florida is in full compliance with Patient Centered Medical Home requirements, established by the National Committee of Quality Assurance.

Being in compliance with the NQCA standards, Dr. Berger explains, identifies clinicians who follow medical evidence to provide quality health care to each of their patients.

“We are striving to become a true medical home,” Dr. Renato Berger says of his All Better Pediatric Group in Coconut Creek, Florida. “Your child’s health care needs are our first priority.” That includes physical, developmental, emotional and behavioral health.

The Patient-Centered Medical Home is described as a care delivery model, under which patient care is coordinated by each patient’s primary care physician. The American College of Physicians website says that patient care “is facilitated by registries, information technology, health information exchange and other means to assure that patients get the indicated care when and where they need and want it in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.” That way, each patient is assured of getting the care they need, when and where they need it.

The Joint Principles of the Patient-Centered Medical Home model have been endorsed by more than twenty physician organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American C ollege of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.

Under the Patient Centered Medical Home model, patients can count of getting coordinated health care even for treatment received from other health care providers. “We are dedicated to working with you and other health care partners to organize the care that your child receives outside of All Better Pediatric Group.”

Dr. Berger says he his All Better Pediatric Group has recently applied for Level 2 Patient Center Medical Home recognition and anticipates their approval.

Dr. Renato Berger has been practicing pediatric medicine for twenty years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His commitment to outstanding patient care has been recognized with seven consecuti ve Patient Choice Awards, and five Florida’s Favorite Physician awards. He received his medical training in his native Brazil, and has been practicing in the United States since 1995.
