A new 501 (c) 3 was formed in Carthage, North Carolina, County of Moore to develop charitable giving for children, youth and families within North Carolina. Initial fundraising campaigns are designated for 2019, beginning with two (2) and building to six (6) hopefully by years end. These campaigns are to complement children, youth and families undergoing traumas related to varied programs and disciplines associated with child services, family court, juvenile justice and other programs.

Today's family is plagued in ways that were foreign to society only fifty (50) years ago. Altruistic federal paradigms have a tendency to be distorted at the local and/or regional level when revenue and politics undermine the basis for supplemental support to children, youth and families. Affiliated Parents Alliance (APA - NC) is earmarked to provide support where warranted after an application and screening process.

The Board of Directors holds their informal initial meeting in April 2019, to discuss 501 merits, and vision and mission statements while bench-marking an impending three (3) and five (5) year strategic plan for Affiliated Parents Alliance (APA-NC). Additional aspects of the 501 are being voted into place during the initial Board Meeting, where Ms. Donna L. Quesinberry - Chairperson and President, Mr. Randy Mashburn - Executive Vice President, Ms. Doris Ann Turner - Executive Vice President and Mr. Richard Valles - Sgt. at Arms will participate physically or virtually. A website and preliminary logo have been introduced to the public-at-large.
