Docsun Biomed Covid Report on Aviation Guideline Booklet

These updated guidelines reflect the DOCSUN Clinical Computation Lab’s continual assessment regarding specific security measures needed in this time of pandemic

Purpose
As the world continues to adjust security operations on airports during the COVID-19 global pandemic, this document was established to provide resources and information to assist airport personnel and passengers alike with the DOCSUN Doorway DC1000 Self-Diagnostic Tool. DOCSUN is ready to meet the current and future security needs of the nation’s transportation systems and remains dedicated to keeping both travelers and frontline workers healthy and secure.

These updated guidelines reflect the DOCSUN Clinical Computation Lab’s continual assessment regarding specific security measures needed in this time of pandemic and provides updated information on the standard operating procedure to be used for the DOCSUN Doorway DC1000 Self-Diagnostic Tool’s usage in the Aviation Sector.

This document aims to provide government decision-makers with updated guidance to airports and airlines for implementing measures to mitigate the public health risks associated with COVID-19, support an increase in travel volume, and ensure that traditional aviation safety and security measures are not compromised. This guidance addresses public health concerns and supports any and all types of air carriers and airports as they make decisions and implement changes to reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).

Scope

While it is critically important for all users of the air transportation system to be educated about the public health risk while being trained for mitigation measures and to take responsibility for preventing the spread of COVID-19, DOCSUN has developed this guidance document specifically to support airports and airlines in public health risk reduction.

This document identifies measures that airports and airlines should implement across all operations and all phases of travel to, from, and within international borders, and explains how those measures should be adapted to the unique air travel environment with the DOCSUN Doorway DC1000 Self Diagnostic AI tool.
The DOCSUN Doorway DC1000 Self Diagnostic AI tool is intended to be used for the prediction of the physiological state of the user and identifying if the user is infected by Covid19. A Diagnosis Summary is generated based on the prediction of the Physiological state of the user, the summary contains information of symptoms of infection or normal state.

This tool’s scope entails bringing mainly three positive changes to the aviation sector:
• Successfully implement effective public health measures in the air transportation system.
• Frequently communicate passenger and operator risks, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Gradually resume operations as the system demonstrates the capability to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, treating public health with the same importance as aviation safety and security

Principles
The DOCSUN Doorway DC1000 Self-Diagnostic Tool essentially identifies the infection on the lung X-ray image through the area of coverage of the “white matter” on the x-ray image of the lung, this understanding helped us to develop an AI model trained to classify between the images that were labelled as the infected and the normal cases. The question of how the ai model was able to identify the presence of the white matter on the image motivated us to utilise the textual report data , to estimate the vital signs of the patient from the reports, this statistical research proved the bracket of consideration of the physiological parameters in cases of infection. Based on this bracket we fine-tuned our approach to the problem which led to the development of the Self-Diagnostic Covid19 Software.

The software helps identify the physiological state of the human body through tracking of the core vital signs of the human body. To reduce the intrusiveness in the detection of the diseases, we have adopted the principle of Imaging Photoplethysmography (iPPG).

Procedure

DOCSUN Doorway D1000 Procedural Application in Local and Transnational Airports
Airports all over the world may now be fully screened and protected through collaboration with Airbus using Docsun’s GATEWAY TERMINAL D1000. The DOCSUN Doorway D1000 Terminal comes with three key features:
(GREEN LIGHT) Normal Physiological Stage (Hence all vital signs are good and no covid detected either symptomatic or asymptomatic).

(YELLOW LIGHT) Asymptomatic Stage (Hence some vital signs and potential symptomatic symptoms start to occur). Suggested for secondary inspection: including but not limited to: Antigen Test and/or RT-PCR Test.
(RED LIGHT) Positive Stage (All vital signs point to the passenger as COVID-19 positive). Suggest immediate isolation and to be blocked off from any and all public contact.

Responsibilities & Roles

It is important to emphasize that all persons in the air transportation system, including passengers, have a responsibility to themselves and to others to make every effort to minimize the risk of virus transmission as we respond to and recover from COVID-19.
The aviation industry’s task is to facilitate and implement measures that are effective in minimizing the risk of virus transmission in air travel, thus restoring confidence that the system does not threaten personal or public health.

In accomplishing this task, the aviation industry must also maintain its historical record of aviation safety and security while taking additional measures to safeguard personal and public health based on lessons learned and evolving public health information. Based upon a May 2020 survey, passengers expect to see a blend of technology, civic responsibility, and public health measures implemented.
