With the basketball playoffs rocking the house and the baseball season in full swing, its time to make plans to hang at King Street Public House, Charleston’s Best Bar to watch sports in style.

With tons of new menu items for Spring, KSPH is Upper King streets hot spot for lunch, dinner and brunch. For starters, try one of their fantastic small plate offerings, which are perfect for sharing while you watch sports on their multiple HDTVs.

There’s the slider trio, featuring braised pork belly, palmetto gold smoked chicken and the philly cheesesteak and delicious flash fried oysters served with Cajun remoulade.

There’s also two fantastic flatbreads to choose from—The Mediterranean featuring fresh artichokes, roasted garlic tomatoes, spiced olives, fire-roasted peppers and feta, and then the signature Public House Flatbread which has aged cheddar, pancetta, apples, fresh arugula and caramelized onion. Other great options for the group while catching the game are their starters to share. Choose from options like sweet potato and apple hash, five-herb roasted fingerlings or smoked pancetta and five cheese mac.

Other great new menu items include two new burgers and a plethora of fantastic salads, like the Southern Candied Walnut, BLT and Grilled Peach and Smoked Bourbon Pineapple. You can also add salmon, steak or shrimp to any salad for a real home run dish.

The food menu isn’t the only place to find great new selections at KSPH. The drink menu has expanded to include several new selections to their extensive selection of wine, craft beer and cocktails. In addition to new house infused bourbons like the Old Hattan and Peanut-Cola, there’s some inspiring warm weather cocktails such as the Pama-Spring. This refreshing spring cocktail include Pama, a splash of Elderflower, Blackberry and Domaine Canton, and house made sour mix which is then shaken with mint leaves and topped with champagne. It’ll have you celebrating like you just won a championship title. Another refreshing option for spring that’ll have you cheering is the Rose-Sorbet, which features the sorbet of day and sour mix (both made in house) topped with rose.

So don’t be left on the bench—make plans with friends to get to King Street Public House. It’s not an ordinary sports bar. It’s a bar with fantastic food that just happens to be Charleston’s best place to watch sports.
