Hank B. Siegel of Hamilton Jewelers Recipient of Prestigious American Gem Society® Award

On Tuesday, July 26, 2016 the American Gem Society (AGS) honored three esteemed leaders in the jewelry industry at a gala in New York City.

 
Hamilton’s president and CEO, Hank Siegel, was amongst those recognized as a recipient of The AGS Triple Zero® Award. Announced during the 16th annual Circle of Distinction Dinner, the jewelry industry’s most prestigious event, The Triple Zero® Award is synonymous with excellence, and is presented to leaders in the jewelry industry for their countless accomplishments and contributions to the industry and their communities. The term “Triple Zero” represents the highest grade in the AGS Diamond Grading Standards, thus recognizing outstanding leaders in the jewelry industry.

Mr. Siegel stated “It is such an honor to receive this important recognition in our industry. Our firm strives for leadership in every area of our business and it is extremely gratifying to receive such a prominent acknowledgement. I am grateful for the award and thank AGS for granting me the opportunity to be part of this prestigious commemoration”.

Hank joined Hamilton as the third generation of the Siegel family in 1982 and was appointed as president and CEO in 1993. Mr. Siegel is a graduate of Emory University, where he received his BBA, Boston University Graduate School of Management, where he received his MBA, and the GIA’s Graduate Gemologist in Residence Program. In 1986, he became a Certified Gemologist Appraiser from the American Gem Society.

In 2005, Mr. Siegel completed serving a two-year term as President of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee. In 2008 he was elected a Governor of the Gemological Institute of America. He has also served on the boards of many organizations in the gem and jewelry industry. He is a member of the New Jersey and Palm Beach Chapters of the Young President’s Organization. Hank resides in Princeton with wife, Lisette, & has two sons, Andrew and Benjamin.
