FORT WORTH, TX– Texas music star, Scott Hayley, is set to perform at the Second Annual “Suns Out Guns Out” Clay Shoot fundraising event on August 14, 2022 at the Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch.

Hosted by the non-profit organization, Cover 6 Outdoors, the event aims to support their mission of battling veteran and active duty suicide through group-based outdoor therapy. The fundraising event will feature food and drinks, raffle items, an auction, awards, and live music by Scott Hayley starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 3:30 PM in Fort Worth, Texas.

After the first successful charity drive in 2021, Scott Hayley is looking forward to being part of the cause at this year’s clay shoot.

“I’m honored to be part of the Cover 6 Outdoors family and their mission to end veteran suicide. I have friends and family who have served our country, so this means a lot to me personally,” states Hayley.

Unlike other organizations, which only serve post 9-11 veterans, Cover 6 Outdoors serves all veterans regardless of when they served and whether or not they are combat or non-combat, and active duty or reserve. Dedicated to providing a sense of brotherhood, veterans and active duty service members can enjoy the outdoors and find a community to support them.

“I believe that hunting and the outdoors not only connects you with nature, but it also connects you with people. It’s about getting away from your phone, TV, or computer and just being with people and enjoying life,” Hayley explains.
