Power yoga poses are challenging because you must quickly change from one pose to the next. This is a strenuous physical workout for the body. A power yoga class may look like an aerobics class, but, unlike aerobics, power yoga requires focus and focuses on breathing.

I have gone through mental, physical, and spiritual pain, and I have primarily relied on western medicine to get rid of or at least lessen those pains. I thought there was more to my health and fitness than what could be measured and looked at in a lab, but I couldn't figure out what it was.

When I learned about yoga, I realized that my mind, body, and spirit are all connected divinely through energy, emotion, and other parts of my being. I had always known it in my gut, but now I was ready to accept it. A doctor can't fix my spirit, and it can't be set simultaneously as my body and mind. I have to deal with things like that. And Divine Self Love is all about the love and care I give myself in the full engagement of my being.

After discovering my purpose, I became a certified yoga teacher, Reiki healer, culinary nutritionist, and raindrop specialist. Using my unique set of skills, my goal with Divine Self Love is to give other people the tools they need to love themselves every day.
