Recent graduate Dennis Roeder is celebrating his own educational success and starting his career as a primary school teacher. Having just graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Primary Education degree, he is already finding success in the classroom.

Dennis Roeder teaches in school located around the Sydney area, and is enjoying every minute of his time with students. The desire to educate is something that he was born with, and many believe he was born to do. With an education focused on the primary school years, he has the knowledge to teach students ages six through twelve.

While he is enjoying teaching in his home state of New South Wales now, he is not discounting the possibility of teaching abroad one day. As a man who loves to travel, he has already thought of a few places that would pose an interesting teaching challenge, such as Tokyo and Athens. For now, he is “blessed beyond words” to have the chance to teach and expand his own professional education in Sydney.

Teachers who truly love what they do are not interested in the financial gains their position could bring, but the chance to uplift and offer opportunities to their students.

As Mr. Roeder studied to teach a wide range of grades, that meant he had to become proficient at many different subjects. While mathematics has admittedly always been his favorite, teaching his students about the remaining curriculum has broadened his own horizons. Now that his first school year is coming to a close he is excited for the next.
