[New Delhi, DELHI, Date] Hublot recently launched their new limited edition Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The watch commemorates Hublot’s responsibility as the official timekeeper of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which is taking place in England and Wales.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is the 12th edition of the cricket world cup. The grand tournament will consist of 10 teams who will compete in order to triumph the 50-Over format of the game. The teams will be playing in a classic round-robin format and will play a total of 48 matches. The final match of the prestigious tournament will be played on 14th July 2019 and Hublot will time the 100-Over clash.

The watch from Hublot is 45mm in diameter and is made of titanium. The detailing on the strap of the watch is directly linked to the aesthetics of a cricket ball. The hands of the two displays of the chronograph are shaped in the form of cricket bats. While the hour marker at 12 o’clock is inspired by the three stumps placed on both the ends of the pitch, the case back is made of sapphire crystal and has the logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on it. The watch runs on the HUB1155 calibre which is a skeleton self-winding automatic chronograph movement with a power reserve of up to 42 hours.

The timepiece from Hublot is the second of its kind. The first limited edition cricket centric watch from Hublot was launched on the occasion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 that was held in Australia and New Zealand. The launch symbolizes Hublot’s commitment to the sport of cricket and its appreciation for the teams that are participating in it. Details such as the black rubber and grey calf-skin leather straps along with the red stitch work, the titanium case with a satin finish, and the polished grey ceramic bezel are a classic touch to the watch that is only available in 100 pieces.

Along with the new watch, the brand also announced English cricketing veteran, Kevin Pietersen as the new face of Hublot. The former captain of the English International cricket team was a terrific batsman and has an impressive report card when it comes to his performance on the pitch. The skipper has more than 8,000 runs to his name with an average of 47 in his career as a test cricket player.
