Mumbai, India: World-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Debraj Shome, has been recognised as the ‘Best Plastic Surgeon’ in India award at the extremely prestigious National Healthcare Excellence Awards 2016. The event was organised by CMO Asia and held at Hotel Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai India at 24th June 2016.

Dr. Shome has been given the prestigious award for his efforts and contribution towards the field of plastic surgery in India and abroad. The esteemed doctor has been a pioneer in various cutting-edge plastic surgery procedures in the country and has helped patients overcome their disability and face the world with confidence. He has done commendable work in various plastic surgery specialisations including oculoplasty, orbital surgery, ocular oncology, ophthalmic plastic surgery, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and otoplasty, among others.
