July 2019. Renovations conducted on A Touch More Class, Sydney’s oldest establishment, are finished and the club is opened for business.
A Touch More Class, formerly known as A Touch of Class, was established in 1972 at 377 Riley Street in Surry Hills and was a pioneer in its industry.
In June 2018, the brothel underwent complete renovations and merged with The New Golden Apple, one of the most popular Sydney brothels.
A Touch More Class is situated close to the city centre in a building considered to be one of Sydney’s most famous landmarks. The exterior features three Victorian-style terraces overlooking the Forresters Hotel.
Last summer, the building underwent complete renovations and the new owner purchased a block of city land to expand the lot. Now the brothel offers a 5-star luxury experience owing to its well-equipped rooms, sophisticated lounge area, and excellent service.
Interior decor is famous for its unique fusion of classic elegance and modern style. The rooms are spacious and designed to offer high-style experience. They feature en suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, rainfall LED showers, in-built bars, and water jet spas.
A Touch More Class is the oldest Sydney brothel and has been operating successfully for more than 40 years. During that time, it has welcomed prominent businessmen, politicians, and sportsmen. Its elegant design and high quality of services helped the business grow and become one of the most successful establishments in the industry.
The brothel was used as a subject for a book written in 1987 by its former madam Zara Powel and a journalist Ros Reines. It has also been used as a location for a 2006 film ‘Candy” which features Abbie Cornish and the late Heath Ledger.
The brothel is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed from its private entrance on Foveaux Street. The building also has a private parking lot in Little Riley Street.
