Alison M.C. Lowe was born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Currently, she is pursuing Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in the United States.

 
Alison M.C. Lowe was born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, Canada.
Currently, she is pursuing Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in the United States. Previously, she completed B.A. in Psychology in British Columbia where she attended both University of British Columbia and Trinity Western University. She was awarded academic scholarships at TWU in 2008 and 2009. She was also on the Dean’s Academic List.

During her time at the University of British Columbian, Alison Lowe worked as a research assistant and project coordinator in the Psychophysics and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab. She loves children and between September, 2012 and August, 2013, she worked as a research assistant in Clinical Child psychology. Additional clinical experiences include volunteering at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Vancouver, BC.

In addition to psychology, she has strong experience in practical healthcare. She has worked as a medical office assistant in the Medical Family Practice in Vancouver and also provided clinical assistance for various acupuncture procedures in Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic. Other experience includes working as a dental assistant and oral hygienist in the year 2004-2006 and volunteered in the Geriatrics ward and Emergency room of the Mount Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC.

Alison Lowe has a strong sense of community. She is the co-founder and the facilitator of the Sharing Hands Community Kitchen. The women with chronic heath and psychological problems were given a ray of hope by this young lady when she created a focus group for them. Recognizing the importance of physical health, she also organised and spoke at a weight-loss seminar in the year 2010.

Apart from her desire to serve mankind, Alison is a lover of music. She is a drummer, pianist and guitarist and has a special fondness of singing and dancing.
