Sleep- The importance of sleep in overall well-being cannot be emphasized enough. It plays an equally important role in preventing obesity. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adults should aim for seven or more hours of sleep every day and even more number of hours for younger people. As per studies, staying up till very late in the night is closely connected to weight gain over time.

Manage Stress- Stress has become a part and parcel of our lives, there’s no running away from it, which can take its toll on both your emotional and physical well-being. Stress leads to weight gain. This can be attributed to the poor dietary choices that one makes when one is stressed.
