Dan Huish is excited to announce his ongoing commitment to community service and supporting charitable organizations financially. Throughout his long and illustrious career, Dan Huish has had the privilege of working with a number of philanthropic group to improve the lives of those in need both locally and around the world. Now, Dan Huish encourages others to do the same.

“I feel very privileged to have had the means with which to help those in need,” commented Dan Huish, who has donated to dozens of groups, charities, and non-profits throughout his life. “I think that helping others is one of the most important things that we can do, and I highly suggest it as a way of becoming more involved in a community and putting philosophies of sustainability and charity into practice.”

In recent years, Dan Huish and the philanthropic arm of his business ventures, the Huish Foundation, have formed relationships with a number of organizations, donating to both specific projects and events and supporting groups with annual contributions. Dan Huish regularly donates to Wounded Warriors, Children’s Hospital Seattle, the University of Utah Hospital, Camp Korey Seattle, the Rwanda Girls Initiative, Bristol Bay, and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

“Almost anyone can make a contribution that is very meaningful to the end recipient,” said Dan Huish. “Even five dollars, the amount that you might spend on gourmet coffee drink before work, can make a huge difference if everyone does their part and makes a similar effort.”

Dan Huish looks forward to continued work with organizations with whom he already has ties, and constantly seeks out new areas in which to have an impact, as well. Most of all, Dan Huish hopes that he can encourage others to spare even a small portion of their income to improve the lives of others. “These organizations need the support of all of us to be able to continue making a difference,” said Dan Huish.

Dan Huish hopes that others will follow in his philanthropic footsteps, and pledge to financially assist organizations that are currently working to change the world for the better.
