The India vs Australia tournament will begin from November 21 with its first T20I out of the three-match T20I series at Brisbane. Then on 6th December, the first test of the four-match test series will take place. The three-match ODI series will start from January 12.

This time Team Australia will be without the services of their premier batsmen David Warner and Steve Smith, both of whom who serving a one-year ban for ball-tampering during their visit to South Africa.

Team India had already announced their squad for the tour. India’s T20I squad includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed.

While India’s Test Squad includes Virat Kohli, Murali Vijay, Lokesh Rahul, Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Parthiv Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

In the Test Squad announced, Shikhar Dhawan’s name was missing due to his poor performance in the England series. Shikhar Dhawan seemed positive and said that he is disappointed to miss the Australia Test series, but it’s fine. He will be going to play the T20 and ODI series. He will try to play well in domestic cricket and try to earn back my Test spot.

Shikhar Dhawan is highly impressed by Prithvi Shaw who made a phenomenal debut against Windies in the Test series and praised him and said that Prithvi Shaw is a great talent and it is a very big thing to play for India at the age of 18 and doing so well in his Test debut. He wishes him luck. He added, there are so many players who get to play for India at the age of 25 or 26 but Shaw made his debut at 18 and also scored a century.
