In his school times, he was the goalkeeper of his school’s football team, but one day, to fill in for the wicketkeeper of the cricket team, the coach sent him as a replacement and from that day MS Dhoni adapted cricket and cricket adopted Dhoni. He is also known as “Chinna Thala”, the name was given to him by his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni is also the captain of CSK and under his captaincy, CSK has won the IPL trophy for three times and is the defending champions of the IPL trophy.
