Indian National Cricket Team started its tour of New Zealand on January 23. The teams are scheduled to play five-match ODI series and three-match T20I series. The tour is in its full swing and will now see the fourth ODI on January 31.

Team India is leading the ODI series against New Zealand National Cricket Team by 3-0. The first ODI which was scheduled at McLean Park in Napier on January 23 which was won by India by 8 wickets as per DLS method.

In 38 overs, New Zealand scored 157/10 and India in just 34.5 overs achieved the target and gain the lead in ODI series. In the second ODI which was scheduled at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on January 26, Team India won the match by 90 runs.

Team India set a target of 324 runs for New Zealand off 50 overs and India’s bowling department white-washed the entire New Zealand team in just 40.2 overs. New Zealand lost the match as they were able to score just 234 against India.

The third ODI of the five-match ODI series was played yesterday at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui and India won the third ODI by 7 wickets. New Zealand was all out in 49 overs and scored 243 runs and India in 43 overs clinched the target.

Mohammed Shami emerged as the player of the match in the first and the third ODI while Rohit Sharma was the player of the match in the second ODI. Now the fourth ODI will take place on January 31 at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

India has cliched the first three ODI matches out of the five match series, almost winning the ODI series. After the ODIs, Team India will play the three-match T20I series against New Zealand on February 6, February 8 and February 10.
