The CWC 2019 is going to start from the 30th May 2019 in England and Wales. The 10 teams will contest in this tournament in which each team will have to play the game with other nine teams and the top four team will be selected for the knock out stage i.e. semi-finals and finals.

The Sri Lanka National Cricket Team is not at all performing well in the limited overs cricket. They are at the 8th position in the Men's ODI Team Rankings below the Bangladesh team. There was once a time when the Sri Lankan team was said to be the most powerful team in terms of limited overs format but at present time it is just the opposite. Sri Lanka has recently lost the ODI series to New Zealand by 3-0, and their next series is against Australia.
