ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is less than five months away from now. The 2019 World Cup is scheduled to start from May 30 .

 
ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is less than five months away from now. The 2019 World Cup is scheduled to start from May 30 with its first match at The Oval, London between South Africa National Cricket Team and England National Cricket Team.

The cricket world cup 2019 is hosted by England and Wales and Cricket World Cup will end on 14 July 2019. This time the Wolrd Cup will be played in the round robin stage, unlike last time. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals and the winners of the semi-final will play the Finals.

ICC Cricket World Cup happens in every four years with its first tournament in 1975 whose winner was West Indies. Till now, Windies have registered their victories for two-times in consecutive World Cup seasons 1975 and 1979.

Australia has emerged as winners for the maximum number of times that is five. Other than that India was the winner of the Wolrd Cup in 2011 and 1983. Pakistan emerged as the winner for one time in 1992 and also Sri Lanka is the one-time winner in 1996.

One of the most watched and awaited match in the Wolrd Cup 2019 is that of India and Pakistan. The two countries share of the fiercest rivalry in cricket as well as outside cricket too. As per ICC, over One Million people had applied for the tickets for this epic match between Pakistan National Cricket Team and Indian National Cricket Team.

The focus of every team is on World Cup 2019 trophy. The ICC Cricket World Cup trophy weighs about 11 kilos and is 650mm tall. It will be interesting to see how the ten teams will perform in the ICC Cricket World Cup.
