During the 19th Century economic crises, many people from Norway shifted to the United States to make their living. With a view to bringing them back to Norway, Michael Tveter extends an invitation to the sons of this country back.

Nobody can deny the fact that living in the hometown brings a sense of security to anyone. But, this is something not possible for all. For their work or for their personal reasons people had to move to some other city, town or even country. Such a situation came to the inmates of Norway in the 19th Century. Yes, during the economic crises in Norway, many people moved to the United States. With a view to bringing them back to their hometown, Michael Tveter takes an initiative.

As Michael Tveter himself is a descendant of Norway, he wishes to bring back his people from the United States. He suggests those living in the United States and elsewhere, but actually belongs to Norway to become sons of this country again.

With this intention, he introduces a website that says “Our web site introduces you to Sons of Norway and District 2, including a list of our District 2 officers and information about our lodges. You will find information about our district events and opportunities, as well as membership and financial benefits information.”

So, the intention is to create complete awareness and knowledge about the benefits people can get when they move on to Norway again as the country is actually their home and not some other country, where they are making a breadwinning now.

About Michael Tveter:
Michael Tveter actually belongs to Norway and even though he is a business owner operational in different fields like construction, he is a person with natural interest towards the community.
